Scripture Reference: 2Cor 5:12-21
Many a times when we are so busy, and when we finally quieten down after a long time of weariness, we ask ourselves.. who am I? why am I here, and for whom am I doing so much? Why cant I just be simple and the questions just come in a vicious cycle..
Soon after, I realised, the more I learn to let go of things, and not let it bother me, the less tired I am because I find joy in the Lord.
14For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
this verse speaks that I live for Christ and not for myself. when we find our identity in Christ, we no longer let things of the world determine who we are, what we do or how well we do, and we are happier. simply because, we know we have a Father who loves us more than anything else in the world, we are special in His sight.
In the old testament, Genesis 25:29-34, Esau sold his birthright to Jacob, because he despised his birthright. Today, we have been redeemed, with an identity in Him. Let nothing sell away this identity that give us eternal security and joy. To resolve our identity crisis, we must be identitfied with Christ.
The creator or his world, is our lover. How wonderful it is, and there is no other, far greater than this gift, that is worth, to give up this identity.
