Scripture Reference: Mark 3:31-35
This was a devotion that I read on a Sunday, after service. The whole of these few weeks, the church has been going through a difficult time when there was an announcement that Pastor Billy has left church.
Pastor led us to pray for the Hokkien ministry during service. This reminded me, that we are a family. not just a family as Youthnet, not just a family as Dellia's tribe or William and Debra's tribe, but a family as a church.
It is not just the hokkien people who reach out to the hokkien people, but each of us serving a different purpose, just like different parts of the body, we function differently, but yet still in one body.
I feel that we should pray more for the church, to be more united. for the leaders, to stand stronger. for the people, to grow their roots deeper. or is this another point or scene of confusion of the evil one, that is trying to do something in the midst of victorious warriors to wreck big plans of the Lord. at this time, it is also a reminder for us, to be rooted and standing together as a family, to draw closer to Dellia, and our people, because we are a BIG Family.
someone told me this: FAMILY = Father-And-Mother-I-Love-You
My family is not a family that easy uses the word love, but this week, I challenge myself to show my expression of love, through action to my family. Just to bless them, to draw closer to them. You can do so too!
