Psalm 3

Psalm 3

As I read today's psalm, I really felt like "oh man....how come the starting of these few psalms are like so sad one ah"! and then I was reminded in that just within these few days, many of my own daughters have been fighting lots of "battle".

I went on to ask the Lord, "Lord, how do we fight these battles and why are there so many battles in this year of Sabbath? Isn't it supposed to be a time of rest?" As I read on, I can't help but feeling that sometimes the battle that the Lord allows us to go through is really for us to turn back to Him. The word "selah" as mentioned in the booklet is about "pause or moment of silent meditation" and I realised that often times when things happen, I myself hardly "pause" and I do things with my own might.

Today's let's return back to the Lord, to seek Him rather than fight the battle with our own might.
